Dear Music Lovers & Visionaries:
Blah, Blah, Blah. Yeah, we could list a MILLION noble reasons why we started Star Creek Records. But the truth is, we just couldn’t take it anymore! What we mean is that for far too long, major labels have cornered the market on the recording industry and have dictated who and what gets heard in the mainstream. You may agree that most of it is hardly “music to our ears!”
In decades past, when INCREDIBLE bands and solo artists were being heard on the radio, major labels obviously were doing a great job. But now, it seems to be a rare occasion to hear music even half as good as what we were exposed to in prior generations.
There are many reasons for this, but we won’t go there. We prefer to focus on all that’s positive and live up to our slogan, “Stellar Music Guiding The Way.” We define STELLAR as the kind of stuff that deeply moves you and makes you fall in love with a GREAT lyric and melody all over again. And that goes for genres across the board!
You may be wondering, “Is that even POSSIBLE?” We say, “ABSOLUTELY!” And we’re sure because we have the roster of artists to prove it! Before joining Star Creek Records, these fine performers were busy developing themselves into artists that could stand up with the BEST of them.
They were writing, recording, touring and gathering fans all over the world. They also were committing themselves daily to delivering something extraordinary that would become the soundtrack of people’s lives. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
